Gem Zone (Children and Youth Ministry)
Welcome to the GEM Zone homepage where you will find updates, information, bible stories, and games about the Children and Youth Ministry of the New Canaan Worship Center, Rev. Kay Word is Minister to Children and Youth and our Senior Pastors are Rev. Louis Blakey, JR. and Rev. Lois Paige.
Our mission is to train and nurture our children and youth. For them to have a loving relationship with Jesus Christ; empowering them through the Holy Spirit to worship, to study and to share His Word, and to foster relationships among their peers and to give service to the community.
Through Grace, leadership, mission/outreach, evangelism, fun, and safety; we plan to complete this mission, "one child at a time."
We encourage our children and youth, as well as parents, to actively be a part of our mission by becoming a part of the Children and Youth Ministry. Together we can equip, through Christ, the leaders of tomorrow and have them making a difference..Today!
