First Visit

Where is New Canaan Worship Center (NCWC) located?

NCWC is located on Forest Hill Avenue, just past Forest Hill Park in South Richmond. For more details please see our map and directions  Contact Us or give us a call at 804 233-6026, if you need further directions or transportation.

What time does service start?

NCWC has one Sunday morning worship service in the main church. Worship service is at 10:30 a.m.

Are there programs for my kids?

At NCWC, children are a BIG part of the population! We know that as a parent you need to be sure your children are in a safe learning environment and are having fun while they learn. To see all that is available for your kids, please visit our Children's Ministry page.

What should I expect when I visit?

You can expect a lively, contemporary time of praise and worship, followed by expository teaching from Pastors Louis Blakey, Jr., Lois Blakey Paige, or a guest speaker. Holy Communion is offered the fourth Sunday each month, and all believers are invited to participate. As our guest, there will be nothing required of you in terms of giving. A visitor card is available and we invite you to fill out the card.  Give it to an usher, then introduce yourself to our pastors standing at the exits before you leave. We'd love to meet you!

Is there a dress code?

We are informal at NCWC, so your casual dress is welcomed.

What is the best way to get involved?

Come and visit us on Sunday mornings. You can pick up information about our children's programs and church, and we would be happy to tell you about other mission opportunities. If you are looking for a place to plug in a new church home by all means, check us out!

If you have other questions, please give us a call (804) 233-6026 or send us an email at n.canaan@verizon.net.
